Tonight I bring to you White Out Hazy IPA by Sleeping Giant Brewing Company way up north in Thunder Bay, Ontario. It's cloudy, it's super foamy which is surprising to me for an IPA, and at 6.1%, this baby will pack a punch. I like the look of it in the glass, though the foam is a bit much for me.
But enough about how it looks, let's get to the point.
It's really good. It's light, it's fresh, and there's nothing overpowering anything else. There's no bitter after taste, which I know many IPA fans look for, but for me it's nice to leave that out for the most part. The flavour is nice and it's really easy to drink. I can see these babies getting an unsuspecting lad into some trouble.
I can see this beer leading to some sick dance moves and crowd pleasing musical performances. Enjoy at your own risk, friends.
As you discerning beer drinkers would come to expect by now, I recommend drinking this fine brew from a clean, cold IPA glass.
My rating: 10/10. It's really good.
My lovely wife is my second sipper, and tonight she took the first and second sip! That's never happened before.
My wife's rating: 5.5/10
There you have it, friends. White Out Hazy IPA by Sleeping Giant Brewing Company up in sunny Thunder Bay is an excellent choice for any occasion. Maybe not funerals or anyplace where kids are present and easily traumatized, but anywhere else where beer is being consumed.
