Today we'll take a look at Lazy Hazy IPAzy by Maclean's Ales Inc located in Hanover, Ontario. It's bright and hazy (as you can probably imagine), it smells fruity and delicious. The carbonation is somewhere around medium, and at 4.8% it's on the lighter side of the craft beers I've featured so far.
Let's take a sip and see what's in store.
It's good. It starts out nice and hoppy, slides smoothly into tropical fruit flavours, and then moves on to a lightly bitter after taste. It's light, it's smooth, it's easy to drink; what's not to like? I could see sitting down on a warm summer day and not getting up until there were no more of these beers left in the fridge. I might even send someone sober out to grab a few more...
IPA's are best served in IPA glasses, so why not grab yourself some? Christmas is coming and what could be better than getting yourself a nice set of IPA glasses? Nothing, that's what.
My rating: 8.5/10. It's a nice easy drink.
My wife is my faithful second sipper, and let me tell you she does not like IPA's. Even light ones that are not super bitter or overly hoppy.
My wife's rating: 3.5/10.
