Hello again everyone and welcome back to the blog. Today we have two beers sent to me by a follower in Alberta, Jason A.

The first one is called Tarty Cousin Sue by the Bitter Sisters Brewing Company in Calgary, Alberta. This brew is a cranberry/raspberry wheat ale, called Crazzberry by the makers of the beer, and is a light 4.5%. It's cloudy, with a nice reddish hue, and what looks to be a medium to high level of carbonation. It has a reputation as being a light, great tasting easy drinking beer for those folks that are in the Calgary area. I haven't been out that way in while, but when I go back, I'll be trying one of these.

The closest glass recommendation I could find was to enjoy this beer from a Tulip glass.

The second beer is called Wraspberry Ale made by the find folks at Wild Rose Brewery also in Calgary, Alberta. This is a fruit ale, which I believe is also called a sour (I could definitely be wrong about that, so let me know in the comments), and like the last beer it weights in at a light 4.5%. Word on the street is this beer is refreshing and tart at the same time, and quite delicious.

This beer is also best served in a Tulip glass.

It seems I'll be stopping by a couple of local breweries the next time I go out west. Darn it! I guess I better stay a few days and sample some of the fine beers crafted by western hands.

The Bitter Sisters Brewing Company can be found at bittersisters.co and the Wild Rose Brewery can be found at wildrosebrewery.com

Check them out and out and let me know what you think.

There you have it, friends. This guest post was brought to you by me, of course, but mostly by Jason A. from Calgary, Alberta. Thanks to him for passing these beers along to me and to all of you.
