Welcome to Beers and Such, my personal favourite beer review site anywhere on the internet. Here I take a craft beer I've never tried before and tell you, dear readers, what I think about that beer. Come with me and let's see what's on tap today.

Today's bevvie is Clark Is In Session (Session IPA) by Thornbury Beer Company in Thornbury, Ontario. It's golden, it's a little cloudy, and it's light at 4.5%. I detect a hoppy aroma, but it's not overwhelming, so that's a good sign. I guess I'm about to find out of light hop aroma translates directly to a light hoppy flavour.

I'm about ready to dive in.

I like that! It is in fact lightly hopped, with a clean mid-range and a even cleaner finish. It's really good. It's so easy to drink, that 4.5% can lead to some serious karaoke performances and sweet dance moves. I can tell you I have danced on tables in crowded bars with a little coaxing from beers far less delicious that this one.

One a side note, it's surprisingly easy to get a whole bar dancing on tables. I didn't mean to get the bar rocking to some serious Bon Jovi (Living on a Prayer? Hell yeah!), but it happened and it was a damn good time.

Moving on....

For my money, and beer with a pig in early 1900's formal wear adorning the can is worth a shot. This beer, named after an actual pig from what the blurb on the can says, proves my pig-centered impulsivity is clearly accurate. I never had any doubt.

This beer is an IPA, so can you guess what kind of glass it should be served in? Some of you have been here long enough to know where I'm going with this. That's right, ladies and gents, this should be served in an IPA glass.

My rating: 10/10. I would recommend this beer for any situation where beer drinking is appropriate, and even a couple less than appropriate situations if you're a risk taking kind of person.

My lovely wife is my second sipper and she doesn't like IPA's. I thought this one might squeak by the old IPA radar due to its light taste and easy drinkability, but no.

My wife's rating: 2/10. We didn't meet over craft beers, as you can see.

There you have it friends. Clark Is In Session IPA by Thornbury Beer Company is a delicious light drinking beer that I am happy to recommend to anyone that likes beer. I'm guessing if you're on this site, that's you. Check out thornburycraft.com to see their beer and cider selections.
